In my household, there is only one machine because it is all we can afford. I do not have access to another machine. I cannot rely on friends to access their computer as they are all in the same boat as me. Feb 07, 2016 iChat was included with Mac OS X 10.4.11. The equivalent app in OS X 10.8.5 is Messages. I haven't tried, but many things still work between my El Capitan (10.11.3) Mac and my old PowerBook running Tiger (10.4.11), such as screen sharing. ![]() ![]() So, the question I pose to you where am I supposed to get access to another computer? Why do you presume that everyone is rich and wealthy and can just snap their fingers and get hold of new systems just like that - especially when the biggest growth industry in my country is food-banks. You should hold your head in shame with these presumptions. I know it is my default browser, but again other browsers do not support my old system. If you would have done the research you would have known that already, so what is the point of telling me to go to a part of the site that is of no real help to me? Is this just a case of ticking the boxes and saying that you have given advice and support when you have done no such thing? Meanwhile, I cannot use my hotmail. I did not have time to move my mail and now I have outlook basic, which is not fit for man, woman or beast.
